Katie’s Favorite Spot: Kells, Co Meath.
A quaint historic town in the heart of Ireland's Ancient East and where I grew up, to me it is still home.
Jane’s Favorite Spot: Belfast City
Belfast, a city steeped in history, culture and natural beauty. Jane's many years of living in Northern's Ireland's capital city makes it a very special place for her.
Niamh's Favorite Spot: The Beaches of Connemara
Whether it is crystal blue waters of Dog's Bay in Roundstone, or the white sandy beach at Kilmurvey on Inishmore in the Aran Islands, their natural beauty stops me in my tracks at every visit.
Mary’s Favorite Spot: Mizen Head
A dramatic point stretching into the Atlantic, is home to the Mizen Head Signal Station, which has withstood the elements for over 100 years. Visitors can descend the 99 steps and explore Ireland’s rugged coastal paths, offering thrilling views and experiences. If you’re looking for thrills, you’ve found them! A notable feature is the high arched bridge linking the signal station to the mainland...Here, you can see out to the Fastnet Lighthouse and learn more about it's immense history... it's sentimentally nicknamed the Teardrop of Ireland, as this was often the last structure seen by emigrants as they left Ireland by ship to head to US & Canada.
